It’s blueberry season in Michigan — let’s make something delicious with them!
Blueberry Crumble Bars 🫐
For the Crust + Topping •
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
For the filling •
2 cups fresh blueberries
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp cornstarch
1 1/2 T lemon juice
•• Let’s make it ••
• In a small bowl, gently mix the fresh blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch.
Preheat your oven to 375 + grease your 8 x 8 baking pan — if you use a size bigger, you won’t have enough for both the crust + topping.

• With your mixer or by hand, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, butter and egg. Mix until the dough is combined + crumbly.
Press half of the dough in your pan to create the crust.

• Pour the filling over the layer of crust.
Take the rest of the crumble + sprinkle it over the blueberries. Bake about 40 mins or until the topping is lightly browned.
